Introduction
Colossians was one of the four shorter epistles written by the Apostle Paul in Rome during his first imprisonment in Rome probably around spring of A.D. 59. Today in the world, many people go on living a low, depressed, limited, sad life. Colossians 3:1-4 shows us a picture of a higher life. I have learned that the resurrection life is a spiritual and eternal life. In this resurrection life I have been risen with Christ. Colossians 3:1 states, "if then you have been risen with Christ [to a new real life, thus sharing His resurrection from the dead], aim at and seek the [rich, eternal treasures] that are above, where Chirst is, seated at the right hand of God." In the Greek this means that I am in a risen state. With Christ, in the Greek means "in Christ", which means that the relationship is intimate and complete. This means that my relationship with Christ is intimate and complete. This passage also shows us that the Colossians was dead to sin but now they have been, quickened together with Christ. Just as the Colossians have been raised together with Christ, and because I have been buried in baptism, I have also risen with Christ. That is wonderful. You don't have to live a low depressed, sad life. But you can live a higher life. This is the resurrection life that I am talking about. It is a life that is worth living. It is a life that people can aim higher. It is a life in which you can have perfect peace. It is a life in which you can have fullness of joy. It is a life that is worth living. You might be at a point in your life where you are saying, I'm tierd of being depressed, sad, I'm tiered of being limited, I'm tiered of filling down all of the time. You too can have a intimate and complete relationship with Christ who is my God. You too can be risen with Christ. The most common question that people might have is how can I live this ressurection life? The answer! Romans 10:9 says that whosoever shall confess with their mouth the Lord Jesus and shall believe in their heart that God has raised Him from the dead shall be saved.By
