High Pressure is a Christian band based in Morgantown, WV that thrives on playing live and spreading the Good Word. Formed in October of 1999 out of Keyser, WV they were originally a three piece band playing local shows in their hometown. Since then xHPx have played up and down the east coast and opened up for such acts as Sidewalk Slam, One 21, and Fighting the Fall. Today High Pressure is a 7 piece ska/rock band that can best be described as groove rock with horns. Founding member and frontman Jake says, "the energy xHPx brings to the table with its current line up is like no other ska band around. Our two main goals in the band are to spread the Word of a better life and leave the crowd screaming for more!

***Can you tell someone who can only speak German, Japanese, or French of Jesus’ Love if you can only speak English to them...
***Can you reach the people who listen to Rock music about Jesus if you can only play Blue Grass, Gospel, Rap, or Jazz... No... You have to speak the language... It is not about the music it is about the Message.
