Jack has been playing music for many years in many venues.He has played Disneyland and Disney World and Universal at City Jazz,JazzCo at pleasure island as well as places like Lowes Paradise Valley in Phoenix,Az and coliseums throughout the west coast,east coast and Canada. He has performed on riverboats(the Avalon from -Grumpy Old Men) and the Seafood Shack Boats in Bradenton Florida . He was in the West Point and 5th Army Bands.He has performed with orchestras around the US including the Minnesota Orchestra,the Venice Symphony , The Minnesota Opera,The Kenosha Symphony,the Hudson Valley Philharmonic,The Chicago Brass Quintet(where he was hired but instead had to go to New York with the West Point Band). There he played shows in the Catskills backing artists like Cab Calloway and Al Green. Whether it..s Blues or Gospel( the River with Howard Rodney Brown)(or Souls Harbor with Gordon Peterson)in addition he has done very straight church music like The Saint Paul Cathedral and Plymouth Congregational Church under the direction of Phillip Brunell.He has done a long string of CD projects spanning the gamut including a two record set with Dave Brubeck when he was very young. Jack has played with Jack Peterson Bob Haggart and Dick Hyman. He has worked with the Bacardi Girls and Dolly Jacobs He has remained on the scene in spite of some mighty setbacks . He has through the years assumed a lot of different voices. Assuming that as you develop your skills your voices multiply and you have more harmonic voices that you can speak. These recordings include performances on 12 different instruments. Because Jack became tired of doing what everyone else wanted he gravitated to "Jack Forseen" Quite frankly this has driven him to composition and arranging again---- all tunes here are uncleskin originals or at least hot performances from the many bands he..s been in. Recently he and his wife Jeri moved to Charlotte, NC.Jeri was teaching and playing and Jack found a group to perform with(Audioform)It was a lot of fun but after a year we decided that we wanted to move to California.Our start in San Diego was a rough one riddled with set backs.However,out of the smoldering flames came the hope of another new challenge.Jeri found a very good teaching situation and Jack began playing locally. Then trouble started again Jack was playing with Joe Angelestro here and there,but the rest of the bands were cover bands.Not wanting to spend hours rehearsing "Mustang Sally" he became dissatisfied. The folks seem to think covers were cool and the musicians imagine themselves heroes to regurgitate them. Skin was not happy and the Witch that lived above us at the Silverado Apartments had either to be terminated or taken away from us by distance,the choice was obvious for us.We moved,it was weird to think that the worst behavior we have witnessed was from an aged old bag with a Cadillac.She chanted and growled in a fashion which resembled my ex-wife, it was foul and evil.Jeri hated to leave her students they were smart and talented.They listened and try what Jeri had said .But as Jeri asked me what to do about the woman upstairs I clutched my baseball bat and said we just need to move.There..s were some great folks we met in San Diego along with some of the most evil MF..s I..ve met in quite some time(they all know who they are)Many Thanks to the Veterans Hospital for their expert help.Some of the musicians were stellar,Joe Dyke,Ric Duff and Frankie D Lambchops Bruce and the many other fine folks
