I am most inspired by those who give a shit about our environment, people of all backgrounds, and innovative and PERSISTENT leaders! I plan to be one of those leaders one day. I will soon have my Master's Degree in Political Science. I am entering the wonderful world of Political Sociology. It's just applying how politics influence groups of people and how groups of people influence politics. I am loud and determined to assist in changing not just our country...but the world. My motto is "Let's convert America's ethnocentrism into integrated globalism." I plan to pursue a career to fight for human rights for each individual in this world.
It's sad that America is one of the wealthiest countries in the world. However, we have some of the highest child poverty rates, highest rates of people who do not have health insurance, and highest foreclosure rates in all industrialized countries! It's because a LOT of people only care about themselves. Most people don't care to get involved with politics because they feel that they have no voice or it does not involve them. Well if you look around...I'm sure you can find a handful of people that suffer from the oppression that the government is enforcing. Got any relatives that aren't getting the medical care they need? I do. Know any family that can't make ends meet because they're disabled and don't get shit for social security? I do. Know anybody who can't make their mortgage payments and are about to be evicted from their house with a big fat "FORECLOSURE' stamp on their forehead? I do. Know any gay friends who can't live a life like we do? I do! I could truly go on and on.
My point is...the roads that we drive on. The arm & a leg that we pay for fucking taxes. The war that we are funding, compliments of our social security payments. The gas that we put in our cars. Homeland security protecting our families. The global warming that affects us DAILY. Blah blah blah. A lot of people feel like it's out of their control. Well guess what. We are the ones that are in control! The last time I checked...WE DON'T LIVE IN A COMMUNIST COUNTRY....SO LET'S SPEAK THE FUCK UP AND EXERCISE THE LITTLE FREEDOM THAT WE DO HAVE BEFORE THAT'S TAKEN AWAY TOO!
Now's our time to speak. Now's our time to demand. People just turn the other cheek when the government suppresses us one bill at a time! Well it's not going to take one miraculous person to change the fragile framework of this country! It's going to take EVERY CITIZEN TO VOTE! IF YOU'RE 18 OR OLDER....THEN THERE IS NO REASON WHY YOU CAN'T PUT YOUR 2 'SENSE' IN!
WHAT GOOD ARE WE IF WE DON'T TRY TO STOP THE UNNECCESSARY VIOLATIONS OF OUR HUMAN RIGHTS! If you don't give a shit. Then SHUT UP. And let the rest of us cover your slack. I'm so sick of people just giving up when things get hard. When things get hard...I only push and work harder!!!!!! So once I get my Master's Degree, I plan to join a non-profit organization to hold the government accountable for the treaties and declarations being signed but not enforced... BECAUSE OF THE LACK OF PEOPLE HOLDING THE GOVERNMENT ACCOUNTABLE FOR THEIR FUFILLING THEIR PROMISES. Our government needs to respect, protect and fufill the human rights supposedly given to us.
Don't get me wrong. There are many strengths of our local and federal governments. But I will NO LONGER TURN MY CHEEK when a politician is more concerned about how they will get richer while we scrounge for change to feed or families, to pay for our prescriptions, and find a decent paying job. Good luck with your job search if you're not bilingual and don't have a degree. The government also doesn't give a shit about our education. One reason why I say that is Bush proposed and Congress passed the 'NO child left behind.' This was the biggest crock of shit. This basically gave the kids in lower income homes and rough neighborhoods a 'Get out of jail free' card. Bush should have just said, "Don't feel like finishing school. NO problem. We could care less. You don't have the capability of doing it anyway. You're too dumb. Here's your GED. Now go out there and don't bother trying to find a job. Here's a free application for Welfare and government assistance."
OR EVEN BETTER...
AS OF OCTOBER 3, 2007: George W. Bush officially vetoed a bill that both Democrats and Republicans in Congress were in favor of. This bill was going to give healthcare to 6 million children in our country without health insurance (with parents not qualified for Medicare but can't afford the EXPENSIVE HEALTHCARE). For those not up to date on the latest federal stats. There are over 46 MILLION LIVES WITHOUT HEALTHCARE IN OUR COUNTRY. And those who are well off and have health insurance that they don't blink an eye at... and don't understand the reality of those who live day-to-day without adequeate healthcare. The cost of this project would be approximately $35 billion over the course of 5 years. He vetoed it because it was TOO EXPENSIVE. So let the children and families in our country manage to live without health insurance. Just another fun fact for you... the war in Iraq costs over $85 billion per year. A huge contributor to that budget is our social security payments that we're paying each paycheck that's supposed to(originally) be our only form of retirement.
Well all I know is that over 6 million children are living right next to us without health insurance. So I'm sure they never get sick. (Sarcasm for those who didn't get that) This was going to be 5 yrs of healthcare at the fraction of the cost of funding 1 yr of the war to "help" another country's "innocent" victims. Those without health insurance due to lack of finances are the victims in our country!!! And even if you have health insurance...doesn't mean you don't have HIGH DEDUCTABLES AND DONUT HOLES. This one little stat won't phase most of you. Some it will. Why is the leader of OUR COUNTRY more concerned with the well-being of other people in other countries than HIS OWN COUNTRY? I'm not saying that we shouldn't help other countries in need. But turning his back on his people as he thinks of different ways of trying to make drilling oil holes honorable and noble. He is exactly what he's not. America is so damn ethnocentric. I want to turn our ethnocentrism into true universal globalism. Form your opinion but know the facts first.
America has been conditioned to find the cheapest, most convenient, the easiest, and the fastest. When I first learned working at a sub-prime mortgage company that cheap is not equivalent to value or worth! Many do not care about putting the effort, time, and money into anything worthwhile now days. So why is cancer and disease so prevalent in America? Why is our education lacking? Because some in the government can be cheap and selfish. Therefore we are products of our society...grab the cheapest and the easiest. We are not replenishing nutrients, vitamins, water back into our bodies. Many do not exercise to due to the lack of time and balancing school, work, and the famiy. America has among the longest "work" hours in the world. WE DON'T HAVE TIME TO DO EVERYTHIHG WE'RE SUPPOSED TO. But I've come up with an anwer......
YOGA!!!! FENG SHUI!!! As much ORGANIC as you can afford!!! WATER WATER WATER!!! NUTRIENTS AND VITAMINS!!! I quit smoking cigarettes July 2, 2007. I started spending the money I was using on cigarettes and now buying healthy, organic, produce, and NO EMPTY CALORIE SHIT. It's a lifestyle that can evolve gradually. But with chronically ill parents...I now view life a little bit more fragilly.!I HAVE NEVER FELT SO GOOD in all my life. It's all about finding your balance, your breath, your core, your maximum, and living life lightly and comfortably!
These are real and raw emotions that motivate my perseverence to providing a more efficient and consistent way of life for everyone. Every race, gender, gender orientation, age, culture, and social class.
I AM A PROUD AND COURAGEOUS LEADER OF THE HUMAN RIGHTS MOVEMENT! AND I AM PROUD TO BE HEALTHY AND WANT HEALTHCARE FOR EVERYONE! Protect Our Environment...It's why we're here!

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Hmmm...duh. Three people. George Bush, so I can have an unofficial debate about the negatives and positives of his being in office, and the future he's paving for us.
Also, I'd like to meet Drew Barrymore b/c she's as real as it gets. I've followed her life from her very early years. And she continues to better herself and allow herself to learn. She's just naturally beautiful inside and out.
And of course, Jim Breuer b/c he's so incredibly hilarious. And if you can't see that. Then you probably won't have much fun on my page!
