About Me

My name is Jean Erasmus, the Jean pronounced 'zhaan' or [3a:n] - the French version for John.
I am a medical practitioner, musician and author of The Sleeper Must Awaken. Before moving to the United Kingdom, I worked as a general medical practitioner in South Africa, assisted women after sexual assault (medical legal duties) and briefly lectured in Primary Health Care.
As my years progressed, I became discontent with society and our ways, and decided to research and write a book in an attempt to'wake us up' to our 'sameness' and possible union, and move away from our 'seperatist' ways of thinking. This has lead to 'The Sleeper Must Awaken'; a book I hope that could - if read and understood by enough of us - wake us up as individuals, leading us back to one another as friends instead of foes.
I am married to an angel, and we have two lovely cats.

This Cave Within...

A Storm on the Horizon

About God’s Existence

The question about God's existence, is an old one, and the path of it's debate probably worn out to the core; nonetheless, it is still an unanswered question, and still divides people in basically tw...

Why Science alone cannot Produce the Answers

I sometimes wonder, where science became the initiator of reductionism; the 'art' of denying the Great Mystery of the Foutain of Life. The reductionist or empiricist, will almost always shoot d...
