Formed in 2005 by Sorcha Bridge and Nicola Lokko in response to increasing demand for stylish, functional British woollens. All About Me are not led by seasonal trends but are influenced by the ancient craft of hand knitting and crocheting. The team are working with knitters and crocheters to interpret modern techniques, designs and styles.
Each piece is handcrafted and hand-finished in Britain and made from the highest quality yarns.
British and Proud
All About Me base all of their manufacturing within Britain. The majority of the companies packaging is recycled and All About Me continue to research additional ways of ensuring the business leaves as small a carbon footprint as possible. At a time when so much fashion manufacturing is being moved offshore, All About Me is proud to base manufacturing in the UK.
We select most of our wool from British flocks therefore supporting the British Wool industry. The belief is that today there is a greater need to use natural, renewable products and wool provides this need whilst providing a warm durable material.
All About me have invested in the Leicester Longwool, which is listed by the RBST (Rare British Sheep Trust) as endangered. Conservation of these and other rare breed sheep is something All About Me feel strongly about, the belief is that we have to work together to restore Britain’s native livestock breeds.
