About Me

Hello! I am a belgian songwiter born in Liège, Belgium. I formed several groups since the eighties (Where Is China?, Glasnotes, Peter & The Lions...) and sang also in an a capella band known as "Sing Sing" in the late nineties. I made an album under the name of LEO in June 2004; "True Lies" (see homerecords.be / happy family). "Crossing The Strings" released in May 2007 on the same label. It's a folkier, "close-to-the-bone" approach, but with a wide range of musical colours. Daniel Willem (violin, mandolin), Thierry Crommen (harmonica), Vincent Noiret (double bass), Claire Goldfarb (cello) and Francis Dozin (flute) gave me a precious hand during the recording sessions. I tried (with the sound engineer Michel Van Achter) to avoid overloaded production and keep these songs as close as possible to the listener. There must be room only for melody, harmony and emotion. You can listen to 3 songs from this album on this page, and there's a few new demos too. I hope you'll enjoy the music, the sound and the overall vibe. I thank each of you for your interest in my songs.
