Kimmi attends California State University of Long Beach as a Music Education Major. She has studied classical voice as a Mezzo Soprano with Jill Anderson, and Elisabeth Pehlivanian. Continuing this year with Elisabeth Pehlivanian, she is studying Soprano. She studied jazz under Dave Becker, Ron McCarley, John Knutson, and Inga Swearingen. She has been involved in various choirs including Cuesta Community College’s Chamber Singers and Voce, as well as CSULB’s University Choir. Kimmi is currently involved in CSULB’s Women’s Chorus, the CSULB Sweet Adelines Club, and CSULB’s student chapter of ACDA. If you are a student at CSULB and would like to be involved in any of these groups, don’t hesitate to drop a line! Kimmi is also taking time for projects like singing background vocals for the up-and-coming Hollywood area rock group, Zealousy, and bringing a new a cappella group to the L.A. scene!
