Writing, reading, meeting new people (from any and all backgrounds), travelling, history, religion, philosophy, camping. Anything that people I love find interesting, I eventually find pretty exciting, too, because they spark that up in me. Lately, though, my life consists of a lot of TV while I'm bouncing 2 babies around, trying to make them happy. A LOT of TV. That includes a LOT of news. I'm really up-to-date on what's going on around the world and the WB. Yeah, I don't have cable, or my mind would really be mush.
I'd like to meet:
Uhh...no one...unless you're like a friend's boyfriend/girlfriend or other significant other or something like that. I only like people I already know. Yeah.
Music:
I like all sorts of random types of music, depending on my mood...Christian (STEVEN CURTIS CHAPMAN!!!), country, rap, and most stuff in between. No Britney Spears or anything like that, though. :P I like people with actual talent.
Movies:
Lord of the Rings (all 3, especially the 1st), Gladiator, Pillow Talk, Gidget, Mulan, The Little Mermaid, Rebel Without a Cause, Indiana Jones (all 3), all sorts of war movies, most Cary Grant movies, most musicals because I love to sing, etc. There are too many to list. There are a bunch of other movies I used to like, but I can't have that crap around now that I have kids (I'm not talking about porn!).
Television:
Any Buffy rerun I'll watch, even the bad ones. I like the CSIs and all those Jerry Bruckheimer shows, and I've been really into 24 lately. I have to admit I never miss Supernatural. Then there are those funny shows like Arrested Development, which is just great. I despise reality shows!
Books:
The Bible--but I can't choose a favorite book of the Bible because I love them all, even Leviticus...The Hobbit, Lord of the Rings trilogy, Zion Covenant, Zion Chronicles, mysteries and thrillers, historical fiction, anything that gets my mind off of a bad day.
Heroes:
People who don't back down from their beliefs; people who aren't afraid to overcome their past; people who don't fear death or other people because they know their futures are secure in Christ.
