I started playing guitar when I was 17 years old, quite late actually. The reasons for picking up the guitar were Iron Maiden and specially Metallica at that time.
In the beginning I just played along with records, tabs and videos but after my studies (graduate Communication management) I had the urge to learn more about music in general. I got my first job and in the evening I went to 'de Til', which was one of the first rock schools in Belgium.
I only did that for one year as I had the feeling that what I learned was not worth to spend that kind of money on.
Later I started working in a 'multi-media' store in Leuven. I tried again to follow lessons at the classic academy but due to different shifts and weekend work. I had to quit that as well unfortunately. At that time I was playing in 3 bands so most of my free time went to that.
Throughout these years I gained a lot of experience (and disillusions) playing in bands, playing guitar etc..
My style is mainly focussed on Rock/metal but I like all kinds of music so..I'm always in for something new
