Grond was formed in 2000 in Blagoevgrad, Bulgaria, by Thorrak (vocals), Grolim (a.k.a Stormheim - guitars, bass - also plays in Darkmoon Rising, ex-Shambless) and Styrd (drums - Demenzia, ex-Shambless). Two years after, Styrd has left, he was replaced by Ulven (Inspell). Mardral (bass - Inspell, Impaleron) and Larn (guitars - Darkmoon Rising) also joined the band. They took their inspiration from J.R.R. Tolkien's books... Grond first live performance was in anno 2003, and demo recordings - 2004. Nowadays they are working on their debut album.....
