About Me

Born in Israel to Bulgarian mother & Israeli father, composer,singer & guitarist Dalia Faitelson moved to Denmark following her graduation from the Berklee College Of Music in 1991. She has 7 solo albums to her credit & has recorded & toured with Randy Brecker, Adam Nussbaum, Manolo Badrena, café, Chris Cheek & Jerry Bergonzi, among others.
She received the Danish equivalent of a Grammy for Jazz in 2000 and the 2005 “Composer Of The Year Award” given by the Danish Jazz, Worldbeat, & Folk Association (DJBFA.)
Latest releases:
SPRING ALLIANCE": May 2007 -Calibrated Records / Edel – vocal jazz/sing a song.
“PILPEL” - September 2007 - Doublemoon/Germany – the first album in Hebrew – world/folk. The album was nominated for a Danish World Music Prize in November 2008
2009 - recording a new album with PILPEL.
