Hi there! I'm a 30 year old single mom and paramedic. I work a VA Hospital and am a nursing student. I hope to finish my AS Nursing in the next few months, but haven't decided yet what area I will specialize in.Working at the VA is a humbling experience. Just listening to some of the stories the guys tell will both make your heart swell with pride and yet make you cry at the same time. I just keep thinking that no one should see what these guys/gals see...
I'm a very impassioned and outspoken person. I don't trust easily and it can take years for me to consider someone a friend...but I am also fiercely loyal.
Well, that's all I can think of for now...I'm better at asking questions than volunteering information...
Your Quirk Factor: 70%
You're so quirky, it's hard for you to tell the difference between quirky and normal.
No doubt about it, there's little about you that's "normal" or "average." How Quirky Are You? I love quotes...Here are some of my favorites...
Emerson
"It was a high counsel that I once heard given to a young person, "Always do what you are afraid to do."
"Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could; some blunders and absurdities have crept in; forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day; you shall begin it serenely and with too high a spirit to be encumbered with your old nonsense."
Patrick Henry
"The Constitution is not an instrument for the government to restrain the people, it is an instrument for the people to restrain the government - lest it come to dominate our lives and interests."
Abraham Lincoln
"I am not concerned that you have fallen - I am concerned that you arise."
Socrates
"I drank WHAT?"
"Let him that would move the world first move himself."
"Some people come into our lives and quickly go, others saty for awhile, leaving footprints on our hearts and we are never quite the same." Unknown
"Never...have so many, owed so much, to so few." Sir Winston Churchill
"Life for something rather than die for nothing." George Patton
"The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing." Edmund Burke
