Eoin Colfer- is the author of the internationally best selling Artemis Fowl books which have sold over ten million copies worldwide. Eoin’s books for children and young adults have won several international awards including The British Children’s Book of the Year, The Irish World Literature Award and The German Children’s Book of the Year. Artemis Fowl is the only book by a living Irish writer to feature in the BBC’s Big Read list of the UK’s favourite 100 books and is scheduled to be filmed in 2007 by Miramax Studios.Cyril Murphy- is a graduate in Music from University College Dublin where he studied piano with Dr John O Conor at the Royal Irish Academy of Music. He has extensive experience as a choral conductor, training and performing with choirs. His experience as a composer and arranger includes works for choirs and children’s educational programmes. Cyril is a director of the board of Wexford Festival Opera, and currently manages his own company which supplies entertainment to the corporate and leisure industry within Ireland.Liam Bates- works as a composer for film and TV. His film credits include The Puppet, 1902, La Jalousie, Echo and Show Girls (composer with Dave Stewart). Liam has also orchestrated music for Circle of Friends, Don Juan DeMarco with composer Michael Kamen. His original work for TV includes the RTE Autumn Launch 2002, Food for Kings, Space Island and The Real O’ Neill. Liam has scored arrangements and orchestrations for Bon Jovi, Dave Stewart, Alicia’s Attic, Meatloaf, Luciano Pavarotti, Morgan and Pete Townshend. He has also conducted concerts with various artistes including Bryan Adams, Luciano Pavarotti, Nancy Gustavson and Pete Townshend. Orignial music for TV commercial’s includes Cheerios, Hallmark Cards and Brittania Assurance. Awards include Promax World Gold Award for RTE production Part of Life.
