== BIOGRAPHY ==
Originating from Japan, in 2002 these "Tokyo transplants" took up residency in Los Angeles to pursue the world's stage. Supe (pronounced "shoop") is a post-hardcore rock band with energy and an exciting live show. In 2005 the band caught the attention of platinum selling producer Sylvia Massy Shivy (Tool, System of a Down) who produced their EP CD "Grow in the Cold" which garnered one reviewer to write, "Supe are nothing but hard-hitting riff mania with splendid melodies...they're coming at ya like a 5-ton tanker." Kaj Roth, Melodic.net. Grow in the Cold is filled with walls of crunching guitar, amazing power and passionate vocals - displaying all the range and styles of Breaking Benjamin, and Thrice. This six-song EP features the sure-fire rock radio hit Shade and live favorite Good Face. Supe is Kihiro on vocals, ARI on ESP guitar, takeshi on PRS guitar, Toru on bass and RyoZ pounding the drums. Have no fear; they may have Japanese names but this truly an all-American band with a world-wide audience. Check another song at purevolume!!

Sounds Like: Music Connections: : A true bundle of energy, Supe rises above the mass of hard-rock bands to create a higher level of play. Unafraid to tackle complex and controversial social issues, Supes music, combined with a visually stunning stage show, certainly leaves a lasting impression. This ensemble of skilled musicians know how to rock: MELODIC.NET Reviews: : -You know back in the old days when you bought an album with a Japanese band,you always had to deal with their accent but it's not like that at all with Supe - they sound like a true all American band...-: Alternative Addiction Reviews: : 'Shade', 'Naked Kings' and 'Good Face' follow the same pattern of energetic crunch and aural addiction, the pace only diminishing with the welcome respite of 'The Only One'-still a heavy track by anyone else's standards, but not in the context of this offering. Brilliantly recorded and brilliantly played with the raw enthusiasm that can only be nurtured by self belief, Supe's "Grow in the Cold" has one major drawback...:
