A Korean immigrant, Suck Yu, arrives to Los Angeles with the expectation to reunite
with his former English teacher in Korea - a gorgeous American woman, Susan.
He then has to stay in the country by marrying a no-nonsense Mexican
American woman, Maria, who lives with her mother and seven - year -old
twins. An unexpected love affair develops between Suck and Maria, which
causes Suck to accept the difference between true love and desire.
