Almost all songs on the green player were improvised while recording. I'm self taught, I have played keyboard for about 13yrs now and continue to play and create music. I have programed a lot of my own arpegiators and have created some of my own drumkits, combination files and mix a lot of my music in real time on my sequencer using my Triton Music Workstation/Sampler. I've done a lot of wave loop mixing(I create my own loops) on computer in the past, but now with the new songs I have started using software programs, synthesized sounds and instruments from my computer, using a midi keyboard to control them and still use my Triton keyboard to write songs with reproduction and live performance in mind.
the majority of my older songs on the additional player were created on my sequencer with no aid from computers and were improvised off the top of my head in real time, accept for a few where I used the computer as a sampling board for sounds and beats that I programed myself. It was when I started using computers again that I realized that there are just far to many limitations to just creating the music on my One keyboard alone, although my older songs are more melodic they also sound very empty and have bad timing. MY new songs have more structure and sounds(which I'd have to say FUCK STRUCTURE!!).
As soon as I get enough money I'm going to get a faster Laptop computer and start playing live shows. When I play live you will witness me playing every main part in real time, because I reprogram all the sequencer information so I can perform it. Because I play all the music. I'm not a Dj and I don't just point and click a mouse to make music. Which I must say it is way harder to program music and mix, then to physically play music with other band members. when you mix a song you have to listen to the same part over and over again until your sick of it and it's lost it's original feeling and then I lose concept of what direction I was trying to go in and what would sound cool. Then after that, now I have to re- EQ all my songs so they will sound good on a nice stereo, because I had to mix them all on headphones or otherwise my neighbor upstairs would start stomping her feet and call the cops on me. Neighbors have always been a huge problem, their request which I should respect, to be quiet because they need their peace. Is kind of like smashing a big foot right through my dreams.
I don't think Maynard would be such a great vocalist if every time he practiced singing someone would tell him to shut up. Anyway, I'm currently living at a place that has a garage I can practice in, but I don't know how long it will last because the house is for sell and the landlord has people come by interested in buying it. I have to find another place to live for the forth time this year. I'll probably once again have bitchy neighbors.
I'm not looking forward to re-EQ my music at all, it's such a pain in the ass. So far every attempt I've made has made the song sound worse instead of better.
I am no sound technician and I badly need one. I almost don't want any one to hear these songs yet. Because the sound quality is so poor, but I'm sick of creating songs no one hears. IF YOU ARE A SOUND TECHNICIAN AND WOULD LIKE TO HELP ME, CONTACT ME HERE.
Then there is this. the computer I'm using is to slow and giving me problems. Everything I play on my midi keyboard has a full second delay after I play the note. Which means I can't sync my synthesizer(The arpegiators) with my computer, which means live performances would sound like crap. So I need either a faster computer, more keyboards and analog equipment or actual band members to play live.BECAUSE I'M FUCKING POOR AND I DON'T WANT TO SUCK SOME BIG CORPORATION'S COCK!! JUST FOR MORE MONEY, AND HAVE ALL OF MY TIME AND ENERGY DRAINED AWAY WHILE I'M AT WORK. BECAUSE I WASN'T BORN TO BE A SERVANT/SLAVE FOR MINIMUM WAGE TO A BUNCH OF STUCK UP SNOBS, WHO STILL GET MONEY FROM MOMMY AND DADDY. I WASN'T BORN TO WORSHIP MONEY AND MATERIAL BULLSHIT AND SELL MY SOUL, BECOME A CORPORATE SLAVE AND LET SOME ONE ELSE MAKE ALL MY CHOICES AND DO ALL MY THINKING FOR ME. WHILE OUR OWN PRESIDENT SPENDS MILLIONS OF DOLLARS ON DEATH MACHINES AND JET FUEL FOR HIS AIRFORCE ONE. SO HE CAN FLY AROUND AND PLAY GOLF AND SEND MILLIONS OF POOR AND DESPERATE PEOPLE TO GO FIGHT HIS WAR FOR MORE, JUST LIKE EVERY WAR. WE'LL JUST SEE WHAT HAPPENS WITH THE NEW ELECTION. I DON'T EVEN CARE ANYMORE. FUCK THE GOVERNMENT!! FUCK ALL GOVERNMENTS. DO YOU REALLY THINK WE CAN JUST KEEP OVERPOPULATING AND CONSUMING/WASTING/THROWING AWAY ALL OUR NATURAL RESOURCES, RAPING AND DESTROYING THE VERY LIFE FORCE THAT CREATED US AND ALLOYS US TO LIVE. JUST TO MAKE MONEY FOR TODAY AND FUCK TOMORROW AND OUR FUTURE AND OUR CHILDREN'S FUTURE, AS THEY ARE BROUGHT INTO THIS WORLD WITHOUT A CHOICE. TO PAY THE PRICE FOR OUR MISTAKES, BUILT FROM GREED AND IGNORANCE. SOCIETY IS A JUST A FORM OF DEICIDE.
WE ARE ALL JUST GEARS IN THE MACHINE, THE GEARS OF OUR OWN DESTRUCTION, SELLING EACH OTHER CANCER, SELLING OURSELVES AND POLLUTING THE WORLD FOR PROFIT, IN THE ULTIMATE PURSUIT TO BE GOD OR HAVE GODLIKE STATUS/CONTROL.
I WAS BORN TO SAY FUCK ALL THAT SHIT AND FUCK ALL OF YOU WHO CONFORM. I'M HERE TO CREATE MUSIC, ART AND WITNESS THE BEAUTY OF BEING ALIVE AND TO POINT OUT ALL THE UGLINESS AND WRONGS IN THIS WORLD, IN HOPE THAT MAYBE IF PEOPLE WOULD STOP IGNORING AND ACTUALLY WORK TOGETHER TO TRY TO FIX THEM AND OVERCOME OUR DIFFERENCES AND STOP BEING SO COLD TOWARDS EACH OTHER AND SELFISH TO OURSELVES. BUT WE WERE RAZED TO THINK THIS WAY AND AS OUR RESOURCES CONTINUE TO DWINDLE AND EVERYTHING BECOMES EVEN MORE EXPENSIVE, WHILE OUR GOVERNMENT DISTRACTS US FROM THE REAL ISSUES AT HAND. IT'S GOING TO BECOME MORE ANIMAL SURVIVAL OF THE FITTEST. WHERE, WHAT YOU HAVE AND WHAT YOU KNOW WILL DECIDE IF YOU CAN LIVE IN THEIR BRAVE NEW WORLD!!!!!!Feel free to comment what you think. oh yeah, one more thing, sometime hopefully soon. I will be adding vocals. I am very good at death metal industrial sounding vocals, I can scream like Danny Filth and have the potential to do more 80's euro type singing like Icon Of Coil, Front 242, Vnv Nation, you know the more poppy industrial singing sound. I can also make my voice sound like a robot without using FX and sing like Ogre from Skinny Puppy, but I'll probably refrain from singing like Ogre even though I like his voice. So yeah singing like a pirate and screaming is no problem for me, so we'll see what happens.
