SPC Theodis R Jones Jr. was born on Oct. 26, 1982 in Monroe, Louisiana,and raised in grambling louisiana.In his early years he was very fast ,and played many sports.Theodis jr also showed an interest in art at an early age taking after his father who was also a talented artist.theodis was very shy and quiet ,but had many friends because of his unique skills.He went to high school at grambling ,but graduated from gulf shores academy in houston .After high school theodis went to dallas with his mother, where He sold his art work,recorded music and poetry.He joined the Army on March 25, 2004 and was sent to Ft. Jackson, South Carolina for (BCT)Basic Training. After Basic Training he was sent to Ft. Lee, VA. for (AIT)advanced individual training as a 92A automated lagistical specialist. SPC Jones first place of duty was with the 980th Eng Reserve Unit in Dallas now located in Coleen TX, where he stayed for one year before going to active duty. On June 21 2005, he arrived at his active duty unit, assigned to the 46th ECB(H) HSC S-4 as an automated logistical specialist. On Oct. 3 2005, he was deployed to Ar Ramadi, Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. While deployed he was assigned to the class 4 yard which he helped build from the ground up. He went to worrier leadership course in Jan ,07,from June-Aug he was assigned to west point NY to assist in training cadets.Theodis also entered his art into an army wide art contest in 07 winning first ,and third place for his art,a drawing and painting. On June 12,08 he was deployed to Baghdad. Where he is currently stationed for 8 more months.the first poem from MR Jones,the deffinition of a strong black man,This is who i am,MR Jones,The definition of a strong black man,a black man taking care of his family always put god first cause through him i can be any thing i want to be i can do i got the right to choose my own destiny like the matrix red or blue pill you live and you learn ,and everything i got i earn ,so wake up to reality cause life aint perfict ,but ima do the best i can and thats for certain i am the definition of a strong black man a black man that wont quit and wont except defete the world is mine and when i look into the mirror i see a dark complected strong black man with no defection thats me so wake up to reality cause knowladge and wisdom is power to devower the week and negetivity of all my enemies ,i was born to excell insted of ending up in jail to prevail over any obstical because i can do all things through christ who stringhtens meClick Yes if you like :-)
