STEVE McNERNEY,Producer,musician,songwriter.Steve was born in Paddington,London and was signed to Arista records in 1976 as singer,songwriter,guitarist with cult powerpop group THE PLEASERS.Steve has worked with Ron Richards [ The Hollies ]Jimmy Miller [ The Rolling Stones,Traffic.]Eddie Kramer [ Jimi Hendrix,Led Zepplin,Bad Company.]Tommy Boyce [ The Monkees,Boyce and Hart.]and played on the last Jim Capaldi album.Steve has recently been working in L.A. with several artists,writers and producers including Shelly Piken [bitch etc] Robert Waller [ Beyonce,etc ] Derek Bramble [ David Bowie etc]Steve Duberry [ Tina Turner,Joe Cocker] and has just co written,and co produced songs for the new Ruffnation,Universal american 15 year old artist Kristy Frank,one of these songs Messed Up written with Shelly Piken and co produced with Eddie Kramer features Abe Laboriel jnr on drums and Don Airey on hammond,while Steve plays bass,acoustic and electric guitars,piano and backing vocals,all at once of course.Steve spends his time working between his studio in Hertfordshire,u.k.,and several studios in the u.s.Currently working with English rock singer Jim Stapley, Japanese female artist Yuki,and several on going projects.Steve is published by Notting Hill Music.
