* A few words on Blackwinds:
To those uninformed, and to the downright STUPID, Blackwinds was Lord Mysteriis' little project which he did during Setherial's "downtime." In a time when literally everything put out by supposedly "kult" labels like End All Life and Drakkar Productions were all mediocre at best (here come the hate mail), the debut Blackwinds EP, The Black Wraiths Ascend, stood out. It featured three tracks and displayed a furious yet minimal black metal style already non-existent in Mysteriis' main bread and butter. Blackwinds also had in its ranks Zathanel who did bass and Lord Kraath who made a "comeback" of sorts on the mic handling the excellent vocal work. It was a nice return for the man especially since I totally worshipped the vocular extortions he did on the killer För Dem Mitt Blod 7" EP, the Nord... debut and most notably the demonic snarls on Lords of the Nightrealm (in my opinion the best Setherial album. Of course, no one agrees with me on this, which is great, since I rule). Initially the idea was to set up this page because I thought the EP in question was one of the best materials ever put on vinyl. This year sees two new releases, and it was only destined that this page would grow like the cyst in your aching ass.
