I am an author and editor and maintain a full website at www.peterconners.com .
My books include the prose poetry collection, Of Whiskey and Winter (White Pine Press, 2007) and the novella, Emily Ate the Wind (Marick Press, 2008). My memoir Growing Up Dead: The Hallucinated Confessions of a Teenage Deadhead will be published by Da Capo Press in March 2009. My next poetry collection, The Crows Were Laughing in their Trees will be published by White Pine Press in 2010. I am also editor of PP/FF: An Anthology which was published by Starcherone Books in April 2006.

My writing has been published or is forthcoming in Hotel Amerika, Mississippi Review, Fiction International, Salt Hill, Mid-American Review, Beloit Fiction Journal, Rain Taxi, Sleeping Fish, Sentence, 88: A Journal of Contemporary American Poetry, American Book Review, Paragraph, Quick Fiction, and elsewhere.
