In the past the "various ones" as ermafroditi dwaries or crowds were consider closer god... today they could just find place in the freakshow, but it is difficult also to see some in truth cause with the surgery all come back to the right order. Nato come il secondo progetto della serie pensata da Demian Savinio "I MUSEI DEI MANICHINI DI CARNE", questa serie di fotografie giocate tutte sul sottile confine dell'inganno visivo e concettuale, divengono nel libro un invito a riflettere sull'abito che fa il monaco e il pregiudizio dettato dalle apparenze. Non tutto è sempre come sembra e questo progetto di libro ce ne svela una parte: Museum of Wonders ci svela la bellezza della diversità , e anche dell'a-normalità ... protagonisti assoluti i diversi, riassunti finalmente nella particolarità della loro essenza, un necessario atto di amore verso un umanità fin troppo svilita dall'aberrante metamorfosi che ci spinge a dover essere tutti omologati e belli per poter essere accettati. Date un occhiata alla galleria di anteprima: questa è la parte oscura del narcisismo! In passato i "diversi" come nani ermafroditi o folli erano considerati vicino agli Dei... oggi al massimo trovano posto nei freakshow, ma è difficile anche vederne in realtà perchè con la chirurgia tutto si mette a posto oramai; in questa società folle non c'è posto più per le differenze, perchè dobbiamo sembrare tutti uguali per essere accettati!
