Running over two nights, the showcase highlights some of the most popular bands in the country, including OAG, Prana, Love Me Butch, Seven Collar T-Shirt, 18SGG and Republic of Brickfields.
Joining Butterfingers on January 6 at Zouk KL will be Prana, Love Me Butch, Seven Collar T-Shirt and 18SGG.
OAG and Republic of Brickfields will be sharing the stage with Butterfingers at the January 13 showcase, also at Zouk KL.
Not only will the event be a chance for fans to catch these bands live up close and personal, but Butters & Friends also marks the first time Butterfingers and OAG have performed together in an extended showcase, since the mid 90’s.
The aforementioned bands have been integral in taking the Malaysian music industry to the next level, with most of them receiving nominations in esteemed award shows like Anugerah Industri Muzik (AIM) and Hitz.FM.
All bands have had singles climb local music charts like X-Fresh, Hitz.FM, Era.FM and even MTV Asia, and have also been chosen as Bands of the Year by magazines like KLue and ROTTW.
