Uma das bandas pioneiras no Blues em Pernambuco, formada há dez anos, The Bluz vem conquistando espaço, e passando por várias cidades de norte a Sul do Brasil! Participou dos festivais: Garanhuns Jazz, Jazz 'n' Blues de Guaramiranga, Blues Latino no SESC Pompéia, Macuca Jazz, etc! Fez várias temporadas no Sudeste e Sul brasileiro. O 1º CD, gravado no ano 2000, recebeu ótimas críticas de revistas especializadas no gênero: Guitar Player, Rock Brigade e Blues 'n' Jazz.Já o novo CD "MississiPE", está para sair do 'forno', e traz participações de grandes nomes do Blues nacional. E a apresentação da banda é um show a parte, trazendo um grande lado performático.______________________________________________ ____________________________________________________________ ______________________The only thing about the group that hasn't changed since it formed in 1999 is the bass man Jarbas Filho and Joanatan Richard. Through the 2008’s, the band's style shifted with nearly the recording as that Demo album debut, The Bluz has survived additional, theoretically key, personnel changes and remained through the final 2000s a original force.The Bluz was formed by Joanatan Richard – Vocals and Guitar, Jarbas Filho - Bass, an by an ex–Death Metal drummer Nato Vila Nova, and Keyboard player Paulo Junior. Joanatan Richard had been a member of a church band named “Jesus in Blues Project” in 1995, Jarbas, Paulo Junior and Nato Vila Nova had joined in 1999. With its repertoire of The Bluz’s blues-style originals, the group’s debut at the “Santo Antônio School Ex-Member’s Festival” in November 1999. The Bluz was popular in region immediately, and it’s Demo album From Caruaru to the World open a lot of ‘doors’.The Bluz recorded “From Caruaru to the World” in Caruaru Engineered by Thadeu in 2000 (oficialy the CD wasn’t released until now), yet the group was already moving away from the all-blues format. In 2004 Nato left the group. The Bluz went through a confused period. Junior Eugênio joined, supplementing Nato drums for a short period, replaced by Thiago Melo. Next Paulo Junior left the group and replaced by “free lancer” Xande Rasec... unfortunately in september 2008 Thiago Melo left the band too.
