CONVENTION CRASHING: OFF-ROAD IMPACTShark buggy has biteBy Brendan Buhler
Las Vegas SunBill Billington is following his dream, his dream of a supermodified boulder-crawling off-road vehicle shaped like a shark, complete with a tail and bloody teeth. He was looking to get into rock crawling seven years ago, and then he went on a trip to Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and bought the jaws of a mako shark, the jaws that became his muse."I bought this mouth and came back and said we need to build this shark," Billington said. "They all said I was crazy - my wife, my partner, everybody."Well, they all laughed at Christopher Columbus, too. (But not because of the round-Earth thing. Still, you get the point.)

Team Shark Attacks Fan of the month:Name: Miss Bonzen is currently 20-years old and has been into the off-road scene since she was about 14. It started when she saw a freestyle motocross event and soon after that she bought herself two dirtbikes and started building her '99 Tacoma.
She's mostly been involved with the faster vehicles like the Prerunner class and Trophy Trucks, but would love to learn more about Rock Crawling. What about Rock Crawling interests you?
I like the challenge. To take vehicles like these and push them to the limits going over such extreme obstacles looks like something any off-road enthusiast would enjoy! How many rock crawling events do you attend a year?
I unfortunately haven't been able to attend any..the SCORE and MDR races take up most of my time. I have seen a few small demo's at the Off-Road Expo and Sand Sport Super Show. I would love to get out there some time and check it out.
