Biography
Staff possesses a determination trait that is rarely surpassed and seldom matched. He has proven that he posses the ability to adapt to any situation while maintaining very high standards allowing his leadership skills to flourish. With over 9 years serving in the U.S Army, he excelled in leading and mentoring hundreds of soldiers and civilians.
As CEO of O.T.L Entertainment Management and 61 Keys Production, he is responsible for the business affairs of artists and music producers careers as well as providing entertainment consulting services to clients throughout the United States. Staff is an active member and President of the M.O.V and Western NY Chapter of the Book Bank Foundation.
Looking to become a major player in the entertainment world, Staff began to build a team of professionals around him to assist, support and guide the company. “It will be the people we align ourselves with that will determine the future growth of our company.†says Staff.
In 1999, Staff became the Vice President of Operations for Owen Ratliff (CEO of Ratti Records/Black Salt Films). He co-executive produced Midwest Funk Volume 3. He was directly responsible for the selling of over 25,000 copies of this project. Staff co-stared opposite of Owen in the highly successful marketing commercial for this project.
In 2002, DJ Eddie B, producer for Bone Thugs and Harmony and Midwest Funk projects 1 and 2 joined Staff and began putting out mixtapes of unsigned artist. This same year, Staff was introduced to Chico Del Vec (artist/founder of Junior Mafia) and Mark Smilo (CEO of Jr Entertainment). In a matter of months, the two companies began recording and producing on various projects.
In 2004, Staff successfully secured a strategic business alliance with Glenn Toby, founder of Glenn‘s Grooves Productions and The Book Bank Foundation. This company has an enviable roster of corporate clients, which include: Sony Music Corp., Motown Records, Home Box Office, Atlantic Records, and B.M.G Music Publishing. “We used the method of creating strategic business alliances and partnerships to advance our artist and generate an unlimited stream of income†says Mr. Toby.
After major re-organization of the company, O.T.L Entertainment Group was formed and officially launched on January 1st, 2008. OTL Entertainment Group is (On The Lo Entertainment INC, Visible Lyrics Record Company, Sinister Gemini Productions, Studio 61 and Club Vibez).
10 years into the entertainment business, those who know Staff can testify to his dedication, loyalty and sincerity. He has an uncanny way of almost always remaining positive no matter what the situation he faces. Not long after he decided to begin this entertainment venture, a good friend shared this quote with him “To have the things today that others won’t have, you have to do today the things that others won’t doâ€. This is now a daily reminder as well as a tool used during his motivational talks.
