Dan Brown was a founding member of Fiction Plane. He toured the UK, US, Japan and Europe with them to promote 'Everything Will Never Be OK' (MCA, 2003) and 'Bitter Forces and Lame Racehorses' (Geffen, 2005). Dan co-wrote the band's latest Album 'Left Side of the Brain' (Bieler Bros, 2007) before leaving the life on the road to pursue writing and production, building on the experience he gained working with David Kahne (The Strokes, Paul McCartney, Kelly Clarkson), Joe Baresi (QOTSA, Lostprophets, The Neptunes), Paul Corkett (Bjork, The Cure, Nick Cave) and Simon Osborne (U2, Sting).He has been writing with artists such as D'Morgan (Sony ATV), Grammy Award-winning producer/mixer Philip Larsen (Kylie, Goldfrapp, Moby, Stereophonics) and DJ Andrew Galea (DJ Bomba, ex-Freestylers), as well as recording and performing his solo album 'Nothing Special'.
