About Me

Well lets see here, I'm 26 years old, got off active duty back in january 2007 (man..seems like yesterday, yet so long ago..) Did a semester at morrisville state for ag engineering (diesel tech) and another semester at elim bible..and did badly at both attempts..the first because, well, i dont learn mechanical things in books all that well...the latter because i have an incredible habit of being a cynical and opinionated..stubborn...person..lol..so now im working on the farm seriously planning taking things over down the road.uh, I've been called crazy, been told I think to much, I am anti religion yet deeply spiritual and theology is a major interest of mine....i doubt however that God in whatever form he may be wished for us to fight over whether the Methodists or the Lutherans or the Baptists or the Catholics or the Muslims or the Jews or whoever is right....it's the heart that matters, not the church you may attend...it's how you live your life that matters, not where you are on sunday or saturday or whatever day may be your "sabbath". Politically, I am a mutt...I dislike both republicans and democrats, or more accurately republicrats...both parties are useless, and care for nothing but lining thier pockets with our money and looking good on tv...As you can possibly tell I can be outspoken both theologically and politically....Lets see, what else...my heritage is German Irish with some dutch and a few others thrown in there...I am deeply interested in Irish history, and sympathetic to a unified Irish StateHowever, I am not, nor do I consider myself, Irish American or German American...I am American, I was born in the USA, my parents were born in the USA, and my Grandparents before them....anyone who would prefix American with anything else is not a true blue American....I have no problem with immigrants, so long as they come here legally and assimilate properly. Heritage need not be forgotten, it shouldn't be, but Nation comes before heritage
"Life is so strange when its changin', yes indeed Well I've seen the hard times and the pressure's been on me But I keep on workin' like the workin' man do And I've got my act together, gonna walk all over you
Gimme back my bullets Put 'em back where they belong Ain't foolin' around 'cause I done had my fun Ain't gonna see no more damage done Gimme back my bullets
Sweet talkin' people done ran me out of town And I drank enough whiskey to float a battleship around But I'm leavin' this game one step ahead of you And you will not hear me cry 'cause I do not sing the blues
Gimme back my bullets Put 'em back where they belong Ain't foolin' around 'cause I done had my fun Ain't gonna see no more damage done Gimme back, gimme back my bullets Oh, put 'em back... where they belong
Been up and down since I turned seventeen Well I've been on top, and then it seems I lost my dream But I got it back, I'm feelin' better everyday Tell all those pencil pushers, better get out of my way
Gimme back my bullets Put 'em back where they belong Ain't foolin' around, 'cause I done had my fun Ain't gonna see no more damage done Gimme back, gimme back my bullets Oh put 'em back where they belong Gimme back my bullets"

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

anyone who is into history, theology, computers, all things Celtic, paintball, agriculture, or anything else remotely interesting lol....

"All paid jobs absorb and degrade the mind."

"Happiness depends upon ourselves."

"It is the mark of an educated mind to be able to entertain a thought without accepting it."

"We are what we repeatedly do."
Aristotle

"Say nothing of my religion. It is known to God and myself alone. Its evidence before the world is to be sought in my life: if it has been honest and dutiful to society the religion which has regulated it cannot be a bad one."

"The man who reads nothing at all is better educated than the man who reads nothing but newspapers."

"The spirit of resistance to government is so valuable on certain occasions, that I wish it always to be kept alive."

"The will of the people is the only legitimate foundation of any government, and to protect its free expression should be our first object."

"We in America do not have government by the majority. We have government by the majority who participate."

" Experience hath shewn, that even under the best forms [of government] those entrusted with power have, in time, and by slow operations, perverted it into tyranny." Thomas Jefferson

"It is well that war is so terrible. We should grow too fond of it."

"A true man of honor feels humbled himself when he cannot help humbling others. "
Robert E Lee

"Be an example to your men in your duty and in private life. Never spare yourself, and let the troops see that you don't in your endurance of fatigue and privation. Always be tactful and well-mannered, and teach your subordinates to be the same. Avoid excessive sharpness or harshness of voice, which usually indicates the man who has shortcomings of his own to hide."

"One must not judge everyone in the world by his qualities as a soldier: otherwise we should have no civilization."
Field Marshal Ewin Rommel

"Sacrifice your life rather than your word."

"Resolve to perform what you ought; perform without fail what you resolve."

"Captain, my religious belief teaches me to feel as safe in battle as in bed. God has fixed the time for my death. I do not concern myself about that, but to be always ready, no matter when it may overtake me. That is the way all men should live, and then all would be equally brave."
Thomas "Stonewall" Jackson

"You can not put a rope around the neck of an idea; you can not put an idea up against the barrack-square wall and riddle it with bullets; you can not confine it in the strongest prison cell your slaves could ever build." Sean O'Casey

"If you strike at, imprison, or kill us, out of our prisons or graves we will still evoke a spirit that will thwart you, and perhaps, raise a force that will destroy you! We defy you! Do your worst!" James Connolly

"Freedom is never voluntarily given by the oppressor; it must be demanded by the oppressed." Martin Luther King Jr.

"Those who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety." Benjamin Franklin

" Do not fear your enemies. The worst they can do is kill you. Do not fear your friends. At worst, they may betray you. Fear those who do not care; they neither kill nor betray, but betrayal and murder exist because of their silent consent." Bruno Jasienski

"The great lesson of the guerrillas' invincibility is taking hold among the masses of the dispossessed. The galvanization of the national spirit; the preparation for more difficult tasks, for resistance to more violent repression. Hate as a factor in the struggle, intransigent hatred for the enemy that takes one beyond the natural limitations of a human being and converts one into an effective, violent, selective, cold killing machine. Our soldiers must be like that; a people without hate cannot triumph over a brutal enemy." Che Guevara
