Peter Shuy was born in the 80's, a decade when the Information Age began and rock and punk were renewed. Early influenced by his pianist grandfather, Peter writes his first songs on a Bontempi piano drawing inspiration from contemporary kid tv shows; Ferdy, The fables of the Green Forest, Belle and Sebastian, Fraggles, Sport Billy…Later on, by the age of 14, an interest for the dramatic and fine arts arises and so Shuy takes up photography, collages, painting and representation…By 1996 Peter enters the Cegada Theatre Company and sets up a band which first performance takes place in 1997 at The Ritz Club – a renowned Lisbon club. Nowadays his creativity is divided between the musical, dramatic and fine arts – new releases in these areas are to be expected.
