BPL - Blue Poole Lounge

About Me

The band, blue Poole Lounge, also know as "BPL", was formed in January of 2006 by rocker guitarist Gary Hoyer, who was actually taught to play guitar by Roy clark and the late Buck Owens, and drummer Mark Poole who is a 25 year veteran in percussion. They invited bass player Lee Sayles to join in for some jam sessions and has been a regular ever since and because he knows playing with these guys is better than therapy! Meanwhile, Mark was looking for work and deceided to accept a job where Phil Ritthaler and Clyde Loftis worked. Talking about music at work one day, mark asked clyde to come over for a jam session and he did, making a huge impression on them with his blues style guitar licks and rocker attitude. mark asked clyde to join the band and he did! The final member accepted into blue poole lounge was phil Ritthaler on lead vocals. Not singing for over 13 years, Phil came into the band with a very positive outlook and with a little practice things sounded great and thus, Blue Poole Lounge was created! Blue poole lounge is no longer we are now "Bastard Child"!!!
