About Me

Sam Dickinson was born in Toronto in 1992. He has only ever lived in Toronto, and Stratford Ontario. He began piano (after his father) when he was 5, then switched to guitar at the age of 8. He is in the Humber College community music program and occasionally plays little gigs around Toronto. He has studied with musicians like Ted Quinlan, Lorne Lofsky, Roland Hunter, and Emile D'eon. Sam is mainly a jazz player, but loves to play rock, Brazilian music, and many other styles, as well as incorporating them into his jazz playing.
