Heavens above I curse you
Sanctify this holy prayer
Bless me today
Destroy my soul tomorrow
Let today never end
Give me peaceful light
Dipped clandestinely in sweet darkness
Rip down the walls of serenity
Replace such cherished emotions
With those of sorrow and loneliness
Day ends
Show me that light once again
Let me bask in its warming subsistence
Make me believe it’s everlasting
Swallow me completely into that fallacious dream
Day ends
Take it all away
Imprison me within expeditious judgment
Chain me up in circuitous guilt
Beat me with philosophy of eternal hell
Torment me with the reverie of hope
Demand my obedience with perplexing anger
Give me not an answer out of riddles and puzzles
Dangle just in front of my grasp the light
Showing my path back home
One step taken
Build me up
This is something I can do
Show me the good things
Another step taken
Falling falling falling
Breaking into imperfect pieces
