I'm a professional Audio- and Mastering Engineer, working from my homebase at TOOLHOUSE STUDIOS Rotenburg an der Fulda
Born in April of 1970, I grew up in a small town north of Cologne and at an early stage became interested in music. My parents often took me along to classical symphonic concerts and after trying out playing piano and guitar, I moved to california in 1992 and studied “drums/percussions†at the musicians institute of technology in Hollywood. Following my graduation at MIT, I continued my studies at the university of california at Los Angeles in the field of recording engineering and at the same time started to work as an intern and assistant engineer at several studios in the greater Los Angeles area.
During my time at UCLA, I was very glad to be taught by well known engineers such as Ron Streicher, Allen Sides and others...
After graduating from UCLA, I spend two more years in LA and extended my knowledge about engineering skills, working in the LA studio-scene.
I would consider myself to be wide open for any kind of musical style and am a proud member of the new toolhous studio team, in which I found trusted friends, who share the same passion for professional work.
Most of the time you will find me at my mastering suite at toolhouse rotenburg, doing engineering work at the SSL Suite or doing mobile recordings.
