THE YAYAS

I edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.4 THE YAYAS first came into existence around 1990.Their original line up comprised of Edward Greaves-Scott Maccleod-Paul Newsome-Paul Schoefield-John Newsome.They released their first single "SEE NO RAIN" in 1992 which which was played nationally and led to various T.V and live radio sessions.They later toured with The Inspiral Carpets and other artists such as the Buzzcocks and Oasis.THE YAYAS have been well documented on having strong ties with Oasis and have featured in many of their books.Scott Maccleod joined Oasis briefly and features in the Wonderwall video and Paul Newsome who later formed Proud mary was signed to Noel Gallaghers label.
