ok. i found this in a magazine i was reading at a doctors office. the list was titled. you know your from butte America when...1. Driving cars down the main drag is a universal high school experience.2. School is almost empty during the time of state sporting events.3. Highschool students consider "chillin' at wal*mart" a normal thing to do.4. You get passed while you are driving 75 mph.5. Butte High School still has a senior skip day.6. Most parents know everyone that they graduated with.7. You tell North Dakota Jokes8. The people there always stop to watch, and cheer at fights. Never to break them up.9. In this hell of town, everyone knows someone named Murph, if you don't know a Murph, you know a Mac, and finally if you don't know a Mac, then you must know a Sully.10. Citizens consider swearing in public perfectly acceptable.11. Everyone in this community is either Irish or German. If not they probably aren't originally from Butte America.12. They think that M.I.Ps are stupid and they wont help keep kids off drugs.13. Kids under the age of 17 can get into any R rated movie at the Plaza 6.14. People there tend to think they are good singers.15. For lunch, the highschool kids hang out at a bar across the alley.16. Lots of people would generally be embarassed by having the largest body of contaminated water in the world, but not those Butte folks, they set up a veiwing stand.17. More people flock to this town for Evel Kineival Days and St. Patricks Day than anything else.19. The highschool cheering section is can shout out profanities, and the parents think its hilarious.20. Everyone in Butte is proud as can be. And let me tell you, its a damn good thing at that. so if your proud to be from Butte, repost this and let people know
