Firstly, I'm a human being, which in itself has it's major flaws. I'm not perfect, and i'm reminded of this daily, but I'm also reminded almost every minute of how good my life is. Born and raised in Christchurch, New Zealand, by my parents who are still together, due only to my father's failing health and my mother's compassion. I have a brother who is almost literally my complete opposite, though we do hold a few similar likes and dislikes.
I'd have to say I am definately a mix of many cultures, though ultimately I'm just an average caucasian 'kiwi'. Having said that I don't really find rugby of cricket at all entertaining, and have thus moved my vision towards the arts.
I was grown on commercial hiphop through the '90s and actually became a Christian in 1998 which, of course helped me find Christian hiphop and my wife. We later seperated with due to conflict of interests. I therefore left the church and christians and once again persued the 'darker' things which became my passions in the late '90s before my conversion.
Nowadays I like a good book, good music, good art and good people, who I hang out with as much as I can. I dislike intolerance, racism and bullies. I kinda front like I hate everybody, but that's my defence mechanism since everyone I have let get close to me has FUCKED ME OVER. So let's hope it doesn't happen anymore. I may be forced to live a solitary life inside a shoe and raise animals to do my bidding.
I have some sort of Diploma in Graphic Design and am proud to have the talents I possess, but wish to push these further in the realms of stencil art, poster design and typography, tattooing and graffiti. I work for a garment screen printing company in Christchurch as a graphic designer/computer monkey/printer and it's treating me very well. I'm learning a lot and putting it all in my headbasket to be of use in the future. All is coming together...
