Always looking forward to new venues, he also played in studen parties for the Parisian "Grandes Ecoles" (the French Ivy League),
in bars such as the Billboard and the Mixer Bar, or during after" parties in clubs like the Saxo or the Entracte (now known as the Pulp) where he resided a whole season.
In 1997, the Paris council selected him as one of the young up coming DJs to play for a large audience during the "jeune talent " festival,
and in 1998, the Yvelines regional council chose him again for its Frequence 78 festival: there he mixed for Microwave,a giant, legally organized rave party in Marly le Roi.
He then joined the Parisian association Vision Musicale, whose aim as music-producer and event-planner was to promote electronic music.
His various sets as resident DJ kept widening his musical horizon, especially during his 4 years participation to the monthly art can dance parties in the club Divan Du Monde and later in the club la coupole in Montparnasse.
In 1998, he organized his own party on a houseboat moored in Paris..
5th district in collaboration with the Art Can Dance party-manager, an adventure that lasted only a season due to the venue temporary nature.
