Photography (I feel more comfortable behind the camera than in front plus almost everyone I know takes lousy pictures), cooking (I love healthy organic food but I do eat some crap), reading (just about anything), exercising (When I'm 50, I too plan on looking like the lady from the Bowflex commercial), boating/water sports (I like to watch other people fly through the air while I'm on the boat), traveling (I want to see everything before I die), snow skiing and hockey (what kind of Alaskan would I be if I didn't?). I am more of a dilettante so I constantly have new interests.
This site is for friends and family so no freakin' pervs allowed. There will be no pictures of me or my friends wearing skirts with no underwear getting out of cars or sprawling across kitchen counters. Also, you will not see any family photos because they have forbidden me to post pictures of them. They say they want to protect their privacy but I think they don't want everyone to know what true party animals they are. Only the resort locals are privy to their drunken rendition of Bohemian Rhapsody.
I like almost everything but rap and screaming hard metal. If the lead singer is screaming and profusely spitting, you can't really relate to the lyrics.
Where do I began. I am a movie junky. There is nothing better than snuggling on the couch with a blanket and popcorn on a cold rainy day to watch a movie. Well there are a couple of things better to do on a rainy day but my site is PG. I like Groundhog Day, The Wedding Singer, Click, The Notebook, Titanic, Officer and a Gentleman, Sixth Sense, Unbreakable, Signs, Terminator Trilogy, and Star Wars. I am always up for a Sci-Fi flick. Many of our technolgy is created from the minds of sci-fi authors. I also like a good drama. I just saw The Departed and it was fabulous. Usually I can predict exactly what is going to happen but not that movie.
Lost, The Office, My Name is Earl, Battlestar Galactica, 4400, The Dead Zone, House, and South Park. My guilty indulgence is The Bachelor. I love watching educated women fighting over some guy they don't know. Some people may view TV as a waste of time but I've learned many valuable lessons from it. For example, I don't ever go outside to investigate a strange noise and then announce my presence by saying who's there. That scenario never seems to end well.
I love the classics. I believe I have read almost all of them during summers growing up at the lake or sunning on my deck. And what female doesn't like a good romance like "The Notebook" or "Pride and Prejudice". We women must read what non-fictional men lack. In addition, I do have to admit I like Harry Potter.
Any individual who does what is right and fair.
