I was born in Warsop, Nottinghamshire, England, son of a coalminer. I was taught basic potting skills by throwing, pulling handles, glazing etc.. by friend and potter Steve Hague, also from Nottinghamshire. I specialise in Raku. Previously living in Rye, East Sussex, England, I now live in the Charente, France with my wife and two girls.
