My Interests

Salam alykum. My name is Sarah and I am a 24 year old volunteer living in Morocco. I live in the Kenifra region. I cannot reveal my exact village for safety reasons but all I can say is this country is amazing. As a blond American living in a muslim country I can tell you things are never what they seem. The people here are friendly and caring. They will insist you come into their home and drink tea and share what food they have with you. When I joined the Peace Corps everyone told me I was crazy. Now all I can think is I would be crazy to go home. My job is complicated but basically I aid my village in various agriculture projects and enviromental education. I would strongly recommend joining the P.C. It's not easy but anything in life that is worthwhile never is. I've already had some interesting, fun and yes even downright wierd experiences in my time here and there is only more to come.
