About Me
Marvil Lincoln Campbell a.k.a. Wappalous was born in Sommerton, St. James, on February 3rd, 1983. He grew up in the Providence of Flankers Heights where he attended St. James High School; where he found his talent just before moving on to Excelsior Community College, where he was then introduce to voice training lessons, which has enabled him to take the music to another level.

**Wappalous style of music is encompass of ska, lovers rock, roots and conscious reggae. He is influenced by Gregory Isaacs, King Yellow Man, Bob Marley, Dennis Bown, Burning Spear, Culture, Black Uhuru, Lee Perry, Shabba Ranks, Buju Banton which has influenced and developed his taste for the music. His style heavily champions the oppressed he also draws on biblical sources for inspiration where he also embraces a more conscious approach to his music embracing the Rastafarian values and discussing social issues in his lyrics.

**In 1993, he made his first international appearance at ‘Sting’ and ‘All School Jam’ both held in Montego Bay. He took an hiatus and return in 2002.*******************************************************
*******Wappalous has performed on various shows such as a tribute show for the late Bob Marley, Sting, All School Jam, East Fest, Star Well, among a few others. He has graced the stage with prominent performing artistes such as: Bob Andy, Kymani Marley, the I-Three’s, Culture, Ken Boothe, Coco T, George Nook, Coco T, Gentleman, Morgan Heritage, Bunny Wailer, L.M.S, Luciano, Capleton, Morgan Heritage, Beres Hammond, Bennie Man, Bounty Killer, Elephant Man, Vibes Kartel, Gentleman, Sanchez, Anthony B, Richie Spice, just to name a few.********************************************************

**Wappalous is currently managed by Stampede Conglomerate Ltd. where he is recording a few tracks which will be on his soon to be released album, He also has a few tracks getting airplay on various local, international, and internet radio stations as well as music videos.
