About Me

Tony Cortezza is a professional Musician based out of Los Angeles California. Tony has been playing guitar and singing on stage since the age of 12, starting with the Okinawian rock band "Condition Green". Tony played in the bars of Okinawa, Japan until he was 15 and then continued on all over the world, from Alaska, the Caribbean, all over the United States, before settling in Los Angeles, California.Tony has had the pleasure of playing with many musicians over the years, everyone from Neil Peart of "RUSH" to "The Gin Blossoms". Tony has played with and or shared the stage with: The Violent Femmes, The Spin Docters, The Fixx, The Smithereens, and many, many more.Tony's latest project is actually one of his oldest, "The Strawberry Jams" is a duo formed with childhood friend Ray Wood. In thier quest to write the perfect "2 and a half minute" Pop song, they released 2007's collection of songs entitled "Candy Jar" to much acclaim, while also performing at the "International Pop Over throw" Tour of 2008.Now in the studio for a followup album to be released in 2009 the Jam's continue to make music inspired by most of all that one thing we all need..Love. !
