“Atoms of an Addict†is Aaron J. Pérez, an experimental instrumental electronic sound designer from Kingston, WA. Late 2006 he started the project with drummer Danny Mullen in a two-piece post rock/electronic band with a lot looped guitar, programming, and midi controllers. Sometime in early 2007 the band reduced down to a one man project and Aaron started sound designing with computers. Writing electronic music using software synthesizers, drum programming, sampling, and guitar.
Never releasing any albums, “The Womb†will be the first EP release. Sometime in 2009 we should be expecting the EP for download. Also there is a free single release “Cozyâ€, from an upcoming LP “Midi Chlorians†via Sound Cloud.
To me, the music is an adventure through lush filled landscapes that are snuggled with amazing, lovely creatures. While robots are, programming blankets of evolving melodies and rhythms. This beautifully arranged, down-tempo electronic music could be your emotive lullaby. Thanks for listening, for other information, check out IDMF net label .
