My name is Andrew. I am a very simple person. I’m happy with my life. Though I may not have much, it is more then enough through my eyes.
These past few years have taught me so much about myself. I really created a new me. I try to live my life with as much hope and love as I possibly can. I try my best not to be angry or sad about anything, but I am human. I never let other people drag me down. The choices people make are there’s to bare, and there’s alone. Whether it be good or bad. Hopefully good…
I am a very busy person. I work and go to school. I am also an independent artist trying to make it big in this corrupt corporate world. Who am I kidding, the chances of that happening are slim to none, but I will never give up :) I like to draw, paint, write and from time to time Ill record my own music. Art has always played a big part in my life. I guess I could say that art IS my life. I am fascinated with art therapy, and its curative powers.
You can listen to my music right here, but I only have one demo up. I have had so much on my plate lately. Time is scarce. I'll be jumping back on this project soon, hopefully...

I never dwell on the past. Life is too short to spend your time regretting the actions and choices you have made. What’s done is done, and you can’t change a thing. But then again... living life as an artist does depend on the past most of the time. Those memories are what enspire my work.
I often think about where I might be headed, but that’s what dreams are. Never let anyone put down your dreams. Think for yourself, if you want it go get it. Stop caring about what others think. Stop caring about what the world thinks. Find your own happiness and do what you think is right. So dream big... and dont let anyone or anything stand in your way.
Only a handful of people REALLY know me. They would tell you that I’m such a clumsy dork. I noticed that i have a selective memory. I remember whats important (to me anyway) and forget whats not. I LOVE TO LAUGH, if you can put a smile on my face then we are already friends. I like to be surrounded by good people.
I don’t believe in boredom. There are so many things anyone can do to make their day a bit more fulfilling. Our time here on this planet will one day come to an end. (we all know that) Take advantage of the time that’s left.
Art inspires life. If we realized that then maybe, just maybe, we will find the piece we are all looking for. I have this insane notion in my head, that the world would be so much brighter if we all explored our own creativity. Almost everyone loses sight of how creative they could be at a young age, and a small portion of us continue to pursue what's hidden in the right side or our brain as we grow.
Do Schools Kill Creativity?
You can find a better life through art.
Human beings have always used art as a motive expression since the beginning of time. This type of therapy was not recognized as a serious profession until the late 1930’s. A woman named Margaret Naumberg was considered to be the “mother,†of art therapy. She was the first to use art as a gateway into a persons psyche. An artist named Adrian Hill took the credit for creating the term “art therapy†in 1942. Hill recovered from tuberculosis in a sanitarium and created his emotional recovery to art therapy. Today, many therapists around the country believe that art therapy is real and is as healing as modern medicine. Many patients have had success stories through art.
Adrian hill was the first to introduce painting to his patients in order to find out what their true feelings were towards the world. He also found that this artistic expression not only provided enjoyment to his patients but also provided a vehicle for expressing their fears
and emotions. Art therapists have stated that after their patients have finished their drawing or painting, their torments seem to spill onto the canvas of their work.
Art therapy can be a way for a person to release their inner torments, and heal their emotional scars. It is not only arts and crafts or just recreational. It has many advantages towards the human body and mind. It also allows people to use objects meaningfully and to transfer their pain from the outside world into their art.
Art therapy is merely a way to release yourself from the everyday stress of life.
Expressing your feelings is healthy. It can help one develop the will to resolve emotional conflicts. In the most extreme cases where art therapy has been adapted is in very traumatic experiences. Such as individuals with schizophrenia that may have been caused by natural disasters, substance abuse or physical abuse.
Art Therapy can also help the mentally ill by reducing the stigma associated with mental illness and give those afflicted a release with their talent. The number of Americans that are mentally ill is estimated to be 22.1% at ages eighteen or older, and one in five adults suffers from a diagnosable mental disorder.
The ability of art therapy to physically heal a person does not rely on language or verbal skills from a doctor or psychiatrist. The function of this method is very basic; art lets a person clear their mind and resolves their issues with ease. So if the mind and soul feel better in turn, the patient will regain a more comfortable life.
