Pixies, the Breeders, the Amps, White Stripes, Patsy Cline, Foo Fighters, The Postal Service, Matisyahu, 30 Seconds to Mars, Bloodhound Gang, Poison, Modest Mouse, Tenacious D, the Killers, the Strokes, the Orange, Jupiter Sunrise, Radiohead, Rolling Stones, OKGO, Jimmy Eat World, Ben Lee, Faith No More, Motley Crue, GnR, and I think Shakira is just the most adorable little thing I've ever seen :)
Some of my all time favorites are... Run Lola Run, Fight Club, Zoolander, Napoleon Dynamite, Lock Stock and two Smoking Barrels, The Usual Suspects, Brokeback Mountain, Mystic River, The Talented Mr. Ripley, Heathers, The Breakfast Club, and Super Troopers!!
For my money, the shows that will always triumph over any competition include; Family Guy, My Name is Earl, Scrubs, Full House, Fresh Prince of Bel Air, Seinfeld, Nip/Tuck - and I'm not embarassed to admit it - I loves me the OC.
I actually tend to really enjoy the classics that they force you to read in HS English class, i.e., Ethan Frome, To Kill a Mockingbird and Of Mice and Men, of course. Some others that have managed to retain my short attention span include, The Great Gatsby, Johnny Got His Gun, Chronicle of a Death Foretold, The Pearl, The Sun Also Rises, Beloved, and The Electric Kool-Aid Acid Test.
My Dad, Oma, Opa, Nana and SuzieQ - Good people are hard to find and these are some of the best people I know.... Oh, and Kim Deal on account of she rocks so fricken hard!
