BURDEN OF HATE is a 4-piece metalcore band from Bucaramanga – Santander (Colombia). The idea was born in august of 2004, when Iván Giorgi (Guitars), Leonardo Suárez (Drums) and Jorge ‘Paco’ Triana (Vocals) looking for to show a different concept and an aggressive music within the local numetal scene. At august of 2007, Carlos Durán (Bass) was rejoined in the project, before his initial departure at the end of 2006. They write his lyrics in English language and provide heavies self-construction messages, on a positivist mentality.
Over three years of musical and artist development (two years of self understanding and one and a half year of public exhibition), nationals and locals live shows (14, at Bucaramanga, San Gil, Aguachica, Cartagena, Cúcuta & Bogotá D.C.), two independent record releases (2 Song Demo from 2006 and Bleeding The Cause Effort EP of 2007), radio and television promotion (2006 and 2007, at UIS Stéreo, La U Stéreo, Cultural Stéreo: LuÃs Carlos Galán Sarmiento, TRO and El Kanal), and a lot of memories and perspectives, the band have exposed the metalcore scene in his country at same time that the genre construction over the world.
With Bleeding The Cause Effort EP, the band prepares his musical and personal impulse for shows, Colombian tours, social associations and rock explosions at all cities and places who can do it in the final part of this year and the entire 2008…
