I was born in Louisville, KY and lived in KY until I was 23 years old. Then I relocated to Texas. I began giving private guitar lessons locally shortly after moving to Texas. Then before I knew it I had a full blown business. Thus, the birth of "Dennis O'Toole Guitar Instruction". Since its inception I have taught people all around the world via the internet. I self published an insructional book for the guitar in 2000 which is currently available for purchase at www.cafepress.com/guitarhaven along with all sorts of guitar paraphernalia (shirts, hats,stickers,calendars,clocks,posters,etc...).

My Interests

Teaching people how to play the guitar! I focus on musical theory and how to apply it to the guitar. In addition to my private instruction I also have some lessons available online. The free portion is great for anyone to gain the basic understanding of reading music & tabs and how to apply this to playing the guitar. Go check them out...
