THE AMORALISTS PRESENT:
THE HEY YOU MONSTER
A two-part epic by Derek Ahonen
The Hey You Monster is a monumental exploration on man's accusatory nature.
The Hey You Monster is a brutal dissection of Mothers and Daughters, Fathers and Sons, and the aftermath of murder.
The Hey You Monster is a tapestry of interwoven themes and revelations, independent of its separate characters and plots.
Welcome to...The Hey You Monster.
Running in reparatory at the Gene Frankel Theater,
The HEY YOU MONSTER is composed of two parts:
Pokin the Bears in a Zoo(Part 1)
Mabel Sternos has been murdered. Will her husband Sheep-Suit get his revenge? Can her sons sober up in time to thwart the old man's plot? Will her poor daughter-in-law Jo Jo have the strength to hold them together? And who is the man they call Forrest? Can the Sternos family be saved from what lurks inside themselves? Find out the answers to all this and more in Pokin the Bears in a Zoo.

Bring Us the Head of Your Daughter(Part 2)
Jackie and Contessa are the mothers of Garance, an eighteen year old cannibal. As their daughter frolics across the country devouring housewives, the mothers are left at home to deal with harassment, alcoholism, and the devastating secrets that have laid dormant for decades.

The AMORALISTS are a theatre company that produces work of no moral judgment, collaborating exclusively with American playwrights whose works are not concerned with the principals of right or wrong, good or bad, but rather full or empty. We are radical in both style of character and narrative, challenging artistic conventions, and defying political correctness. An AMORALISTS production is not an experience that you can stick under your seat and forget. Our work goes home with you.
Our Actors: The Amoralists' actors are physically and emotionally fearless artists. We are comprised of volatile actors. (E.G. If a beer bottle is thrown at an actor during an onstage argument, the actor will bust out a sewing kit and stitch up their wounds while continuing to attack the other actor with the dialogue) We love loose canon actors with a little crazy and a lot of craft.
