Aisha Hollans AKA Reecee is an extraordinary female hip hop artist, song writer, composer and producer from Oakland California. Growing up in Oakland she was fortunate enough to be raised in a household that was constantly filled with the rich voice of Billie Holiday, effortless harmonies of the Temptations, the seductive and luring callings of Marvin Gaye and Teddy Pendergrass. Music has always been the heartbeat in her family which provided her with an early exposure that developed into the number one passion in her life. Reecee has been performing Hip Hop since the age of 10 and has been writing, composing and producing since she was fifteen.At the age of eighteen Reecee received a full basketball scholarship to USC which she attended for three years and then transferred over to Cal State University of Long Beach on a full basketball scholarship. She received her BA from Cal State University of Long Beach May 2005. Now currently earning a MBA in Business Administration with an Certificate of Entrepreneurship . After graduation from Cal State University Of Long Beach she played professional basketball overseas in Turkey and Portugal in Septemeber 05 until April of 06 and in the 07 season in Sweden until April.During her attendance at college, Reecee created various Hip hop mix tapes with different local producers and artists in Los Angeles. She is also featured on two mix tapes in Oakland California for the local and well known producer Fatts from Full House Group. Reecee collaborated with Terry T from Grass Roots Productions and most recently Jack Sample production camp out of Los Angeles.Reecee is developing a career path with a goal to receive a recording deal as well as a publishing deal based on her exceptional ability to song write and compose melodies for all genres of music. She feels that this path will allow her to gain credibility and notoriety in the industry. It's a rare and unique talent for a female Hip-Hop artist to not only write her own lyrics but can write for Alternative, Gospel, Pop, Country and R&B.
