It began somewhere around 2006 when FherRock and Axel Fame,friends from years ago, decided to form a band.After several musicians with not much succesful results they decided to renew their Line-Ups
A few months later a friend of them came with a contact about someone he knew from college who was a guitarist and had played for several bands.Besides he seem to share their musical interests .This guy was Eddie Martz.
FherRock and Axel Fame contacted him, they talked about all the issues,the musical concept and later Eddie joined the band. They jammed together for a couple of weeks to get fit and finally they thought it was time for another member searching for the rythm section ,so Eddie suggested to contact an old bassist friend who had been playing for a while with different bands but at that time he was available. He was no one but David Raven...They all agreed, had tons of fun playing together and made arrangements to meet the next weekend.
Raven joined them on the last days of May 2007. The Band was now complete and they were all filling the band's sound with their influences and interests to create a concept band based on Hard Rock, Heavy Metal, Rock Ballads and Alternative sounds but always searching for originality.
This is the way RaKyA was born......
After keeping the band more solid they began playing at different places such as small venues, pubs, parties and friend's gatherings with a lot of success,resulting this as good music and most important great band union.
Later, the band started writing material of their own. Each member had songs from time ago and along with blending of ideas songs like "Perpetual", "Make Me Forget", "Blind Life", "Chasing Shadows", "My Last Chance" and many more came to reality to the band's arsenal
Next step with our material was to record it somewhere, so with the help of Fire Mirror Records (http://www.myspace.com/firemirror) the band went into Studio for a grueling but fun session for our first demo....Soon much more music is to come for all you people, as well as next steps such as total demo finishing, promotion, distribution, selling, much more live shows and who knows what else is about to cross in RaKya's Road!....The only thing we know is we play our hearts out everytime and for everyone, work hard with passion, honesty and live for only one reason....To RoCk!!
